The café in Haus Starke is a central element in the local marketplace. Try our delicious breakfast buffet and watch the hustle and bustle in the historic center. In addition to our regular specialties, you can also rent our rooms for celebrations, such as holy first communions, weddings, and other events.
The “Weinhaus Starke” in the same building provides delicious wines and an exclusive selection of the finest spirits. Taste delicious fruit brandies (e.g. Lantenhammer, Rochelt), gin, rum, and lots of whisky. Our signature brandy, the “Briloner Waldgeister” (Brilon’s forest ghosts) is made according to an old family recipe – the perfect souvenir to bring home from Brilon. Some of our spirits are also available in the restaurant and the beer bar.

The comfortable beer bar is guaranteed to let you enjoy the typical atmosphere of our town. The rustic ambiance brings together locals and regulars, soccer fans, the local fire fighters and sports clubs. People talk politics at the large table in front of the reception and continue their discussion at the bar. Get involved!
